Welcome to the website of Dr. Sergio Badel and
Dr. Darrah Bingman.
Dr. Sergio Badel is a Board Certified and Licensed psychiatrist in private practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He treats adult patients, specializing in the care of those with Depression, Anxiety Disorders, and Traumatic experiences. He also has experience in the treatment of medical conditions that cause psychiatric symptoms, Bipolar Disorder, Addictions and Schizophrenia.
Dr. Badel emphasizes the approach to treatment following the Bio-psychosocial Model of treatment of mental illness. He treats the individual taking into account the body, the mind and the culture/ society the individual lives in. He has found it is most therapeutic and cost effective to provide psychotherapy and medication management (when appropriate).
Dr. Darrah Bingman is a licensed clinical Psychologist. She provides individual therapy, psychological, educational, and neuropsychological testing. Dr. Bingman specializes in psychodynamic and interpersonal therapy and encourages insight in the individuals she works with. She works with individuals of many ages and treats many different psychological issues. Together we work to offer the most comprehensive approach to our clients' treatment. We have found that combining our specialties has allowed us to better assist our clients when appropriate.
Our practice is conveniently located in the City of Tamarac (near Fort Lauderdale Parkland and Coral Springs). The office is on the west side of University Drive between South Gate road and McNab Road, convenient to all major highways.
